Surface Technology in Focus: VULKAN INOX Reports Successful First Half of 2026 Trade Fair Season

Hattingen, June 2026. For the Hattingen-based company VULKAN INOX, the first few months of 2026 were dominated by international trade shows and face-to-face customer interactions. With a strong presence at several major industry events worldwide, the company was able to further solidify its position as a specialist and market leader in stainless steel blasting media for surface technology.

Engaging with the surface technology industry worldwide

In April alone, VULKAN INOX was represented at three international trade shows simultaneously: in Germany at PaintExpo 2026, in Turkey at Marble Izmir—represented by its long-standing partner FETAS—and in Mexico at Die Casting Expo Mexico. Back in March, the company exhibited at RPA France, Global Industrie Paris, and the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Houston, USA.

All events were very well attended and provided an ideal setting for professional exchange. The experts from VULKAN INOX held numerous discussions with customers, prospective clients, and partners from a wide variety of industrial sectors. Despite the different target audiences, the same topic was the focus at all events: perfect surface treatment using high-quality stainless steel abrasives.

In-depth technical discussions explored new applications, developed customized solutions for current challenges, and further expanded existing partnerships. At the same time, numerous new customer contacts were established. It was particularly gratifying that several visitors immediately scheduled appointments for blasting tests and sampling of their parts at the VULKAN INOX test center in Hattingen to personally verify the quality and performance of the blasting media.

PaintExpo 2026: A Special Trade Show Highlight

A particular highlight was the company’s appearance at PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe. The world of industrial coating technology gathered there from April 14 to 17 for this international industry event. VULKAN INOX’s modern exhibition booth impressed visitors with its clean design, strong brand presence, and high level of technical expertise. Over the course of all four days of the trade show, the booth became an important meeting place for the surface technology industry.

“This shows that our technical expertise remains in high demand. Personal interaction and the collaborative development of customized solutions with our customers continue to be our particular strength as the market leader in stainless steel abrasives.” Christian Hoffmann, Head of Global Sales at VULKAN INOX

Managing Director Marc Hidde also views the first half of the trade show year very positively:

“Our international presence at the most important trade shows clearly demonstrates the continued strong demand for high-quality, sustainable solutions in surface technology. We particularly value the direct exchange with customers and partners worldwide. It is precisely this interaction that gives rise to innovative approaches, long-term partnerships, and ultimately the solutions that offer our customers real added value.” Marc Hidde, Managing Director of VULKAN INOX GmbH

Positive Results and Outlook for the Second Half of the Year

Looking back, VULKAN INOX considers the first half of 2026 to have been a complete success. The numerous discussions, new contacts, and projects secured confirm the company’s strong market position and bode well for the coming months.

VULKAN INOX will continue to maintain an international presence throughout the rest of the year. In June, a trade conference on stone treatment will take place in Turkey, represented by partner FETAS, as well as FEIMEC 2026 in Brazil, represented by DEUMEX de Brasil. Further appearances at trade shows and conferences in the fall are already in the works.
